Oral Presentations

Time allocated:

Time allocated for each oral presentation (except plenary lectures) is 25 min.
(20 min. for the presentation, 4 min. for taking questions, and 1 min. for switching to the next presentation.)

General Instructions:

ISEM2024 prohibits presentations that include applications to military systems, and the ISEM2024 Executive Committee asks all authors to refrain from making military statements or remarks in their presentations.

Please contact the chairperson just before your session starts.
Please be seated at the allocated seat in the front row during the presentation immediately before yours.
Please come up to the stage as soon as you are called by the chairperson of the session.

(1) If you use your own laptop computer/tablet:

• Please prepare your own connection cable and connect the HDMI cable to your laptop/tablet at the beginning of your presentation (the time for setup is included in the presentation time).
  
• Please check the connection BEFORE the session starts. Also, please prepare a backup file in USB flash memory in case of any trouble.
  
• Please note that if there is a problem with your computer, tablet or other connected device, the presentation time cannot be extended.
  

(2) If you use the computer prepared at the conference room:

• We will provide a laptop computer with Windows 10 installed.
  
• Please prepare the presentation materials in Microsoft PowerPoint format (pptx) or pdf file.
  
• Bring your file in USB memory and copy your presentation materials to the computer BEFORE your session starts.
